ministries without borders® speaks of people who are inwardly free and outwardly mobile; who use their gifts, talents and abilities to take the message of hope and the gospel of good news to a needy and dying world. We believe that every mandate given by God can be achieved and that there are no problems too difficult for His power of miracle.

The concept of ministries without borders was birthed in 1963 on hearing an evangelist say:
"There is no country you cannot enter or border you cannot cross if God tells you to do so"

These words made an indelible impression and gave a renewed vision of the Great Commission given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ when he said:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations”

We face a variety of challenges in our world which differ from those our Lord encountered, but His word and power, demonstrated by miracle and good deed, are still the answer to the diseased heart of man caused by the generational virus known as sin.

For ourselves, working together is essential. It's a joy, not an option. Together we can achieve far more than working alone. As we travel we encounter the difficulties many people are facing through drought, famine, war and disease. Our gospel, therefore, seems even more relevant today as we realise anew that:

"He has appointed us to preach good news to the poor. He has sent us to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors and that the time of the Lord’s favour has come." (Luke 4:18–19 NLT)

Together we endeavour to reach beyond the borders of ‘self’ and to reach all with a demonstration of His love, word and power.
