Roofing Materials for Church in Kabinda |

The church in Kabinda, led by Yambalu Mposhi, has seen rapid growth with 1000 people now meeting together each Sunday!
They meet in crammed conditions within a hired hotel room - and for the 200 or more who don't make it on time, they have to crowd around the doors and windows to listen to what is happening in the meeting. The church were seeking to build their own facility to house everyone, but building materials are very expensive in this part of Congo. Kabinda is right in the centre of the country, which is the size of Western Europe, but only has 900kms of tarmac roads. The local church is enormously grateful for the gift sent on behalf of ministries without borders to pay for the roofing iron. One sheet of roofing iron is the equivalent of one month’s wages for a salaried employee; and there are not many of them in the area. The photos show the wooden beams being put in place and the latest photos show the roof nearing completion. The 5 men standing on the wall were knocked off a few minutes after the photo was taken when a worker swung a beam round knocking all five brothers to the ground. They were only bruised and thanked the Lord for His protection!
