A number of churches in the mid-west are actively involved
and engaged with the vision of ministries without borders. This is
expressed in a number of creative and innovative ways. One of these is
that throughout the year, churches take regular offerings for the poor
which are used in various ways to minister and reach out to the poor
across the nations that we are involved in.
Donations to the Nations:
A number of people in the USA also sow into the vision of ministries without borders through the dollar-a-day program. Financial feedback and inspiring testimonies of how these funds have been used is given at the annual without borders: bible week
every year in Stafford (UK). Snapshots of how these funds are used are also available through the 'related articles' section on this website.
Missions Teams: Since October 2006, many mission teams have gone out from the USA as part of the Mission 193 initiative and vision.
Sowing into the USA:
ministries without borders has had the great joy and opportunity of sowing financially into the USA through various projects. - On the East Coast - We
have been able to sponsor, both financially and in prayer, a Cuban
pastor as he has spearheaded the work of God in Miami. Through his
passion for God and his pioneering heart, he has seen a mighty growth
in numbers within the church in Miami and also known the provision of
God through the supply of a new building for the chuch along with
furnishings and airconditioning!
ministries without
borders was delighted to support the Cuban pastor and his family for
their first year in pioneering and are pleased to say that the ever
growing congregation has now been able to take over the financial
responsability for the pastor, the new church facility and the Kingdom
works to follow in the future. - In the South - Through the generous giving of individuals involved in the dollar a day program,
ministries without borders was able to distribute $75,000 (via Charles
Simpson Ministries) to help alleviate the hardships caused to families
and livelihoods of those affected by the hurricane Katrina disaster.
This money has helped rebuild lives and people along the gulf coast have been shown the love of God through you!
