‘Refresh’ is the word we are using to describe our week together, believing that the Holy Spirit wants to impart something of His Refreshing power to us all. In Luke 4:18 Jesus said that the Holy Spirit: “anointed me to…” The anointing He received enabled Him to release others – transforming their lives. The anointing He received empowered Him to bring full restoration to those that were sick, oppressed, poor and held captive by sin. Jesus Christ, the anointed one, transformed history and humanity. As the people of God we are called and commissioned to do the same anointed works as Jesus did……and “even greater” as John 14:12 states. The Lord wants to Refresh and anoint us in the Holy Spirit to involve us further in taking the marvellous message of the Gospel of the Kingdom in the power of signs and wonders to the world around us. ‘Refresh 2010’ will be characterised by dynamic worship and inspiring preaching & teaching; it will be a week of fun, faith and fellowship with friends ‘old’ and ‘new’; it will include all the usual activities and some new additions! ‘Refresh 2010’ will do what it says – for everyone who comes – join with us for a wonderful week in July!
